Joe is a general partner at Heavybit. He uses his many years of experience in academia, startup management, and venture capital to help practitioner-first teams scale their go-to-market strategy and their organizations. At present, he works with successful startups such as Tailscale, Localstack, Groundcover, and Partnerpage.
Jesse is the co-founder of Chef and Orion Labs. He was the first chair of O’Reilly’s Velocity conference kickstarting the DevOps movement and served as Amazon’s original “Master of Disaster.” He is an avid dev community-builder and technical advisor and holds board positions with Sanity, Mobot, and others.
Dana has 15+ years of experience helping technical founders go to market. She has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, and VentureBeat, and spoken at major industry events such as CES, TEDx, and SxSW. As an investor, she holds board positions with Yetto and Everfund.
James is the co-founder of Heroku and Heavybit. He established Heavybit as the only fund focused solely on developer company go-to-market. He is an astute advisor on developer product design, early GTM, and is a board member to Begin.
Andrea is the VP of Marketing at Heavybit where she consults Heavybit portfolio and member companies and develops the Heavybit brand’s GTM.
Susie is Heavybit's Chief Financial Officer, overseeing funding transactions, audits, reporting, and more.
Ted manages Heavybit’s platform team and advisor network. He facilitates knowledge sharing across our community through the programming of speaker series, office hours, group sessions and Heavybit’s DevGuild conference series.
