We’re thrilled to announce our newest Heavybit member NodeSource – a company that provides enterprise-grade solutions for Node.js development and operations.

Enterprise adoption of JavaScript and Node.js has been on a steep curve – up 375% year over year. Developers have embraced the ability to quickly develop and run code anywhere, yet still struggle with agility and efficiency in the enterprise.

NodeSource’s N|Solid is a fully compatible Node.js runtime platform aimed at increasing developer productivity, protecting critical applications, and achieving peak application performance for customers like NASA, HomeAway, Condé Nast, Craftsy, and other progressive Node adopters. The company announced a $10M Series A from RRE Ventures, Crosslink Capital and with plans to expand their enterprise offerings. As part of this expansion, they’ve most recently launched containerized N|Solid Deployment for Kubernetes.
