As Faculty Chairs they are adding to our formal curriculum that includes providing SaaS sales and marketing benchmarks, required reading, assigning guest instructors, and providing a framework for demand generation and customer discovery. They will also offer 1:1 advice to member companies, make key introductions and build special events and office hours to help founders gain core competencies in areas of high need.
About The Faculty Chairs
Nicolas Draca is Heavybit’s second Marketing Chair is an accomplished data-driven marketer with 20 years experience. He is currently the VP of Marketing at Twilio, where he owns marketing operations, marketing analytics, field and international marketing teams. Before Twilio, Nicolas spent five years at LinkedIn. In 2004, he co-founded Ipanto and as the chief marketing officer helped lead the company to a successful acquisition by Infoblox. Nicolas will advise Heavybit members on how to reach new markets, promote new product features, build their demand engine, and generate awareness.
Trenton Truitt is Heavybit’s first Sales Chair and has been a long-time contributor to our community. Currently Wizeline‘s SVP of Sales, Customer Success & Delivery, Trenton joins us with a myriad of sales experience.He was the VP of Worldwide Sales at PagerDuty and has led sales organizations at Appcelerator, EMC, and Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC). Trenton is an expert in large enterprise sales and will help Heavybit members design and execute their sales strategies.
