Join us for food, drinks, and presentations from Dr. Andy Walshe & Dr Matt Diamond! Boosted Boards will be on site providing interactive demos of their electric skateboard.

Dr Andy Walshe – Measuring the Impossible

Dr. Walshe is the head of High Performance at RedBull. He and his team were in charge of training Felix Baumgartner for the RedBull Stratos program.  In his talk, Dr. Walshe will talk about the training and data that went into preparing Felix for his historic jump, the future of data in sports performance and his goal to “quantify courage”.

Dr. Matthew Diamond – Performance Augmentation and the Future of Wearables

Matthew Diamond, MD, PhD is a sports medicine physician and scientist with expertise in connected devices that promote wellness. Dr. Diamond is the Medical Director at Misfit, a member of Fossil Group, where he develops physical activity and sleep monitoring technology and builds collaborations with academic and industry partners. In his talk, Dr. Diamond will talk about “closing the feedback loop” and his work with wearable technology that doesn’t just measure performance, but actuates and stimulates the wearer.

Hands on Demonstrations

We are extremely exited to have Boosted Boards join us to demonstrate their new, electric skateboards.  The Boosted team will bring several devices for you to try out so bring your balance and sense of adventure!
